What a Party!

I must admit my evenings last week were consumed by the Republican National Convention. It was great! From the first night to the last the schedule held me spellbound. I think it was the best convention I can remember. What I saw was more than just a partisan event showcasing the policies of a particular political party. It was in another sense a celebration of America and the people who make her great. I made me so proud! I think the choice for president is eminently clear; the differences between the candidates are stark. I expect a hard campaign ahead, but I'm optimistic about President Bush's prospects for re-election in November.
