Crossing to Jordan
Well, the time has arrived to say goodbye to Eric and Hannah once again. Tomorrow they leave for a 6 week missions internship in Jordan - the final one before heading to Honduras in the months to come. With another winter storm bearing down on the Northeast we are all hoping they can make it out of New York City before things get really bad. After many hours of flight and a layover in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, they are to arrive in Jordan. They plan to keep in touch via email during their stay. I hope so because I think I will miss them. They are becoming serious "globe trotters". Our fantasy scenario is for me to fly to Europe sometime during the next 6 weeks to meet up with them in Rome for a visit. I think budgetary issues will crush our plans. But it was fun imagining, nevertheless.
