e" based on the book by C.S. Lewis. I had not read the book prior so it was a somewhat unfamiliar story to me. The film, which was released only Friday, was quite interesting to say the least. It was easy to see how C.S. Lewis interwove the Christian theological themes of faith and redemption throughout the story by means of some fantastic symbolism. Our group left impressed. Those who had read the book as kids said the film followed the story line closely. Apparently, it's being well received across the country as well. It was by far the top draw at the box office this weekend, beating the runner up by a mile.Sunday, December 11, 2005
