Busy Weekend

Today was a busy day. I got up early to start some massive yard work around my house. I needed to cover a stoney area with topsoil so I can plant grass and create a nice lawn. I started raking and getting things ready. The area had been tilled up the night before to hopefully get some drainage and aeration to better allow things to grow. Before long Dad and Mom arrived. We worked hard all morning and got most of the topsoil transported into place. It was back breaking work. Raking, pick axing, shoveling...it was a never ending cycle. But the results are very encouraging. I even had time to do some mulching. You couldn't have really asked for a much more productive day. Hopefully my aching muscles won't keep me awake all night.
