Hello Kitty

This morning I awoke to the results of a big, late winter snowstorm that dumped quite a bit of snow across the area Friday. I decided it was time for my workout to begin - time to grab the shovel and start tearing through the deep snow.

Snow shoveling is great exercise - good muscle toning and cardiovascular benefits. (haha...) I figured this would make up for the workout I missed on Friday.

As I finished shoveling the driveway, I looked down in a ditch to where the water runs under the street through a pipe. I saw a little black head and some pointy ears poking out. The neighborhood cat had found shelter from the storm.

He was watching my every move...just waiting for the moment to hop out of his little igloo and get some breakfast.

The cat and I are both hoping this is the last snow storm of the winter.
