Deja View

Today I went to a new optometrist to get an eye exam and new contact lenses. After having me read the smallest print possible and going through various tests, he determined that my prescription needed adjustment. Big surprise...it's always like that. My last optometry experience hadn't been very good. They never were able to get my prescription right. So, I was looking forward to this exam going well. After concluding the exam, I ordered the contacts and went back to work.

As I was about to leave work to go home later in the afternoon, I got a message from the doctor's office. It seems they had a computer glitch and had lost my prescription information and were therefore unable to place my order. Now I have to go back and redo the test. I think somebody pushed the wrong button. Sounds like they need a refresher course in basic computer skills. Unbelievable!
