Horses in the Snow

It used to be that we would go to grandma's on Christmas day, over 100 miles away.

On Christmas Eve 2002 a big snowstorm rolled in and we were snowbound on Christmas day. The trip to grandma's house was delayed.

When we got going the next day, the winter scenery was striking. I was inspired by these horses we passed along the way. They didn't seem to mind their snowy, cold surroundings.
