19th Century Ancestors

Meet my great-great grandparents, George and Anna Hale. This picture of them was taken around 1890 (educated guess) in England where they lived. They look quite serious, but I think that was how you were supposed to pose for photos in those days (or maybe the photographer was really annoying). To my knowledge I own the only original that exists. It has suffered some damage over the last century, but I intend to get it restored. Having this picture in my possession is special. It's like a little window into the late 19th century.
