Wild Lawn

When I was outside this morning I noticed there were quite a few Grape Hyacinth growing wild in the yard - a clue that it was high time to cut the grass. There were so many of them that before I started huffing away with the push mower I decided to save a few from the soon-to-be whirling blades. There was more than enough of them to fill a small glass tumbler. Eventually, I did get the lawn mowed.

.....beautiful, but you can't eat them. You will have to come and have some applecake, we just baked another one and the house smells delicious. Dave said he didn't get even a crumb from the one he took over to the garage, so I baked him one that will stay here. Do you still want the gooseberry bush? ch

Mmmm...sounds good. Yes, I'd like to have the Gooseberry bush. I'll have to make a trip out or else convince Den to bring it down next time he comes. :)

Hokey Dokey! Today it is loaded with bumblebees or carpenter bees, I don't know the diff.
