Thanksgiving

When it comes to counting blessings, one of the entries near the top of my list this year has to be my awesome co-workers in the US who haven't forgotten me even though I'm far away.

Knowing I could not come home for Thanksgiving, they surprised me with a collection of goodies that arrived just a few days before the holiday. 

My excitement to see what was inside the big box was only surpassed by feelings of appreciation for their caring generosity. 

It made my first Thanksgiving abroad very special.
